Jesse's Kona Coffee
Darden-Young Farms, an exceptional estate producing "Morning Sun" Kona Coffee, is located in the Kona district of Hawaii. Darden-Young is a Certified Organic Farm with the Hawaii Organic Farmers Association. Working sensitively with nature the land produces a unique coffee that is rich in lipids and vanilla flavors. Approximately 2,000 pounds of coffee are produced a year at the Darden-Young farm and it seems as though customers cannot get enough. The Kona coffee is a Vienna roast, which is usually between a French and medium dark roast.
Why is Kona Coffee so expensive?
Kona Coffee has a unique production process, making it not only exclusive but also delicious. Managed by Jesse, wife Connie and site manager Mike Cerrone, Kona Coffee is as close to a family production as you can get. Our American coffee is "shade grown" in an old macadamia nut orchard, home grown (hand weeded, pruned and picked) and completely organic – absolutely no pesticides or poisons are used. Producing only 2,000 pounds of Kona Coffee a year on four acres of the richest soil in the Kona coffee belt, you can be confident you receive nothing but our coffee…and nothing but our best.
